The minimal assembly required wasn’t too bad. The controls were intuitive, and I quickly got the hang of turning and adjusting speed. Despite it being my first experience with a zero-turn mower, it felt very natural and easy to operate. I’m please with the purchase thus far.

The mower arrived well-protected on a pallet, but I had a hard time getting it down by myself since the pallet wasn’t designed to drive the mower off. I had to jack up the mower and put boards under the wheels to get it off. It came mostly assembled from the factory, with no loose fasteners and a flawless paint job. After a little assembly and adding fuel, it started easily and ran well. This was my first Zero Turn mower with lap bar controls, but I learned to steer within a few minutes and appreciated the comfortable seat and the maneuverability. It cut my grass well with no scalping on my uneven yard. I really liked the powerful engine which was able to handle both the cutting and the hills of my property. The only things I didn’t like were the pallet mounting and the fact that there was no bagging attachment available. Please think about adding one, Troy-Bilt!

This mower was delivered in a crate by truck. There is some assembly required, mainly attaching battery cables, grass blower shoot and seat. There is oil in the motor and you will need to add gas and make some minor adjustments. The mower is great. It started right up and performs great. I’ve mowed multiple times and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality mower for a reasonable price.

Great looking mower. Assembly was easy and took less than 30 minutes. Getting it unpacked was a bit of a chore. Had to adjust the seat safety switch as it didn’t make solid contact at first and mower would die when lapbars were engaged. Back tire was damaged due to packing and shipping but customer service was easy to work with and shipped new tire out immediately. Mower handles well and cuts mowing time down significantly compared to my older 42 inch lawn tractor. Description did not say but it comes with a hitch bracket that you bolt on yourself. I do agree with the other reviews about the mulching kit. Wish it was provided with the mower.

This Zero Turn is a hidden gem, in my opinion. It’s made very well, its a quiet but powerful Chinese Engine (I think) but I don’t care, 20in wheels, 3.5 gallon gas tank. I looked at All the 42in Zero turn and this one is the best. De-crating and assembly took 90 minutes. The hardest part was getting it off the crate. I love this mower. I even like the deep cup holder…It stays put even over bumps…This is a well made, fairly large, and a heavy Zero turn….I’m pleased with every aspect of it. Starts easy, cuts beautifully and the big wheels help too. Last- It’s Beautiful to look at.

After delivery it took about an hour to uncrate and attach the seat. battery cables and chute deflector. Filled with gas and it cranked right up. Mowed 2 1/2 acres with it and it chewed they some pretty thick grass without any issues. The engine has plenty of power and gets quite thirsty. It’s a little rougher ride than my conventional lawn tractor though. Mostly due to not having those ballon type tires on front that soak up vibration. What sold me on this model is the tubular frame around the engine which provides protection plus ease of access to the engine. The icing on the cake is the cool seat! The floor pan is also the access panel to service the belt. Adjustable seat can accommodate long legs too. Only thing I can find lacking on this model is headlights. I’m gonna mount some inexpensive LED’s somewhere on the front soon though. None of the Home Depots near me has this model in stock for me to check out, so they had it shipped to from out of state for FREE! I’ve had quite a few Troy-Bilt products over the years and they’ve served me well, weed trimmers & push mowers. Hopefully I’ll get the same service life out of this zero turn mower.

Excellent machine. Heavy duty. Cuts fast and even. That’s important on my hilly rough property.. I don’t like the electric Blade engagement system. I expect trouble with it in the future.

My husband LOVES it. He hates mowing, but he likes zooming around on this mower. He had so much fun mowing that he didn’t notice he lost his phone from his pocket! Phone is still MIA, but he’s still loving it. It provides a nice even cut, even on heavily over grown lawn.
